Mulund Labour Camp Fire: Police Book Shapoorji Pallonji Officials Over Alleged Safety Lapses

Navghar police have booked Shapoorji Pallonji officials and others over alleged safety lapses after a fire at a temporary labour camp at the BMC's PAP housing project in Mulund East on October 8. Seven to eight LPG cylinders reportedly exploded, but no casualties were reported. Police are investigating alleged violations involving fire safety, permissions and worker accommodation.
